Overview

In 2009, PPI formed a new business unit, PPI Aerospace (PPIA), dedicated to supplying superior, multi-disciplinary Engineering Support Services to the Aerospace industry.

PPIA is based in Greenbelt, MD and is initially focused on supplying on-site engineering to NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC). PPIA has contracts to supply key Systems Engineering leadership to major programs including the Hubble Space Telescope (HST) and Landsat Data Continuity Mission (LDCM).

The management team includes Mr. Larry Dunham, Vice President and Division Manager, and Mr. William (Tracy) Meyer, Vice President and Deputy Division Manager. Both individuals have over twenty years of experience supporting NASA GSFC.

The PPIA team has received numerous NASA awards and recognitions including NASA's Distinguished Public Service Medal and Space Flight Awareness award. In 2010, two team members received NASA's Systems Engineering Excellence Award from NASA's Chief Engineer.

Customers include NASA, Lockheed Martin, QinetiQ-NA, Honeywell, Arctic Slope Regional Corporation (ASRC), and SGT Inc.

In addition to Engineering Services, PPI builds both ground and space flight hardware at the company headquarters in Ashburn, VA.
